E2M designs, develops and manufactures high-tech electric motion and control loading systems for a wide variety of applications such as vehicle simulation, entertainment rides, research and development and many more. These systems include a mechanical, electrical, real-time software and non-real-time software component and are sold to a worldwide customer base.

For the reenforcement of our software engineering team, E2M is looking for an all-round software engineer.

You will be part of a software team that develops and maintains an embedded real-time controller and various supporting GUI applications. The tasks are challenging and versatile such as:

  • Software development: architectural design, implementation, sub-system level (automatic) tests, system level tests including on hardware,
  • Maintain and develop our Linux real-time operating system.
  • provide technical assistance to the customer support team.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science,
  • Experience in a systems programming language, preferably modern C++.
  • Experience with Graphical User Interface Libraries and development such as Qt
  • Experience with the Linux operating system.
  • Fluent in English.

The System Engineer is part of the engineering team and takes care of the system, control and mechatronic design of our systems. You will participate in the design of new systems and further development/improvement of existing systems, including:

  • specify and select control- and servo components,
  • create (dynamic) models and simulate the mechanical, electrical, control and servo systems,
  • program (safety) PLC's and controllers,
  • commission and troubleshoot systems,
  • test systems and analyse the results,
  • perform servo- and controller tunings,
  • provide technical assistance to the sales team and the customer support team.

Because of the strong growth of our production, E2M is looking for a planner. The main responsibility of the planner is to make sure that the production process can function uninterrupted. This is achieved mainly by ensuring that all parts are purchased and checked, and all obscurities are resolved before production starts. Additionally this function requires the administrative processing of the logistic steps of the purchasing and production process.

Project Engineer

E2M is looking for a Project Engineer for the Amsterdam location.

Job Description

E2M produces highly technological mechatronic products for the worldwide simulation and test industry. The bestknown products are motion systems for pilot training simulators. Although it mainly concerns standard products, the products are complex and have to be integrated with the equipment of our customer, and finally with the building where the simulator will be located. The project engineer fills in the phase between sales and acceptance. This means dealing with the customer, purchasing parts and implementing customizations and performing acceptance tests. For some projects the project engineer is also required to do aircraft system modeling or vehicle customization.
