Secondary Flight Control Loading

E2M secondary control loading actuators are designed for compact and/or lightly loaded flight controls. The active force feedback solutions are for fixed- and rotary wing flight simulators, both civil and military. Two solutions are widely used for actuating secondary control channels in various level D simulators.
Geared drive
The geared drive control loader is a compact and high-performance actuator designed for operating in tight spaces and capable of handling heavy loads. It is commonly used to drive toe-brake channels in fixed-wing simulators or the cyclic in rotary-wing simulators. Both 3-phase and 1-phase options are available for full flight simulators (FFS) and flight training devices (FTD).

Direct drive
Secondary direct drive solutions are offered in 50 Nm and 20 Nm continuous torque variants. The multi turn 50 Nm version is typically used to drive trim wheel channels in fixed-wing simulators, while the 20 Nm actuator is suitable for controlling throttle levers, nose-wheel tillers, speed brakes, and similar control elements. Both models are available with or without a loadcell sensor.
